Common questions
Does TELVRIX store my emails?
Yes. TELVRIX syncs messages from your IMAP server and stores them in Supabase (PostgreSQL) so the app can display them. Message bodies are stored in the database. IMAP and SMTP credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never appear in logs or admin views. See the Trust page for details.
Can I bring my own email provider?
Yes. TELVRIX works with any provider that supports IMAP and SMTP — Gmail, Outlook, Fastmail, ProtonMail Bridge, self-hosted Postfix, and others. You supply your own credentials.
When does billing start?
Billing is not active during closed beta. Paid plans are informational and subject to change. Beta users will be given advance notice before any payment is required.
What are the "planned" features?
Features marked with a clock icon are gated or roadmap items. AI Compose works when an Anthropic API key is configured by the operator and the AI_COMPOSE flag is enabled — contact your admin. Shared mailbox sending (multiple members composing from one address), SSO/SAML, compliance export, and custom domain are post-launch roadmap priorities with no committed timeline during closed beta.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Deleting your account removes your messages, mailboxes, and profile from the database. Encrypted credentials are deleted with the mailbox record. Workspace data is preserved if other members remain.
