iCloud Mail setup guide

Connect an iCloud Mail account (@icloud.com, @me.com, @mac.com)

Server Settings

IMAP hostimap.mail.me.com
IMAP port993 (SSL/TLS)
SMTP hostsmtp.mail.me.com
SMTP port587 (STARTTLS)
AuthenticationApp-Specific Password

Setup Steps

  1. 1

    Make sure Two-Factor Authentication is enabled on your Apple ID (appleid.apple.com → Sign-In and Security)

    Go to appleid.apple.com → Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords

  3. 3

    Click Generate App-Specific Password and give it a label (e.g. "TELVRIX")

  4. 4

    Copy the generated password (format: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx)

  5. 5

    In TELVRIX, select "iCloud Mail" as your provider

  6. 6

    Enter your full iCloud email address as the username (e.g. you@icloud.com)

  7. 7

    Enter the App-Specific Password — not your regular Apple ID password

Notes

If you have a custom domain through Apple's custom email domain feature, use the same imap.mail.me.com / smtp.mail.me.com settings with your custom address.

Known Limitations

  • Two-factor authentication must be enabled on your Apple ID
  • App-Specific Password required — regular Apple ID password will not work
  • Use your full iCloud email address including @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com
